In 2013, Lv Ying took a photo of Roger’s feet in the latter’s atelier after he visited her exhibition “À côté”. Roger used to often work overnight since many years. In 2015, she exhibited these photos of feet in her show in Beijing. In the same October, they met each other again on the beach of Narbonne.

Born in England, Roger has travelled to many places. He lived in Italy for 20 years before travelling to the U.S. as well as many other countries. He is installing in France for the moment. Through these photos by Lv with “les paroles” that she wrote for him, one can see the revolutionary soul of an artist who has never stopped his revolutionary pursuits in the daily life.
